cleveraged: Sensationail

Seit etwa einem halben Jahr gibt es bei uns in etlichen Läden die Möglichkeit, LED Lampen mit passendem Nagellack zu kaufen um selbst zu Hause Gel-Nägel zu kreieren.

Natürlich zögerte ich nicht lange und kaufte mir das Set von Sensationails in der Müller Drogerie für ca. CHF 75.-. Dieses Set ist ebenfalls im Manor erhältlich.

Im Set enthalten ist die LED-Lampe zum aushärten des Lackes, eine kleine Nagelfeile, ein Nagelhautstäbchen, ein Primer, Cleanser, Base- und Topcoat und 1 Nagellackfarbe. Ich hab das Set mit dem klassisch roten Nagellack gewählt. Meine Mutter hat für sich dazu noch einen Lack in Pinkrot gekauft. Mittlerweile gibt es viele tolle Farben für etwa
CHF 16.- zu kaufen.

Sensationail verspricht, dass der Gel-Nagellack bis zu zwei Wochen hält. Nun ja dies kann ich nicht bestätigen, weil mir die Farbe vorher verleidet und ich sie nach etwa 1 Woche ändere. Aber bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt bleibt der Lack wirklich schön, blättert nicht ab, hinterlässt keine Striemen auf Papieren, verkratzt nicht (auch nicht wenn man versucht mit dem Schlüssel einen Kratzer zu hinterlassen).

Im Grossen und Ganzen bin ich total zufrieden mit Sensationails. Vielleicht ist die erste Anschaffung ein wenig kostspieliger als normale Nagellacke, dafür aber hält der Lack wirklich lange. Ich selbst habe einfach bemerkt, dass ich nicht ständig den Gel-Lack auftragen kann, da sonst leider meine Nägel sehr brüchig werden (vor dem Auftragen des Lackes muss man den Nagel ein wenig anrauen, damit der Lack besser haftet).

Die Anwendung ist total einfach und auch schnell gemacht.
Erstens raut man die Nägel an und putzt sie mit dem Cleanser.
Danach trägt man den Primer auf (damit hält der Lack länger) und lässt die Nägel ca. 15 Sekunden trocknen.
Als nächstes trägt man den Basecoat auf und lässt in 30 Sekunden unter der LED-Lampe aushärten. Dann kommen zwei Schichten des Nagellackes (jeweils 1 Minute aushärten lassen) und zum Schluss der Topcoat (30 Sekunden aushärten lassen) drauf. Dann werden die Nägel sofort nochmals mit dem Cleanser abgewischt und fertig, glänzend und trocken ist die neue Manicure.

Since about a half ayear we can finally buy in Switzerland sets to make Gel-Nails at home.

I didn’t hesitate long till I bought my set from Sensationails at the chemist’s shop called Müller for about CHF 75.- (approximately $ 70.-). This set is also available at Manor (a Swiss store).

This set includes a LED-lamp to cure the polish, a little nail file, a primer, cleanser, a base- and topcoat and one nail polish. I choose the set with the classic red polish. My mother bought addidtional one in pinkred. By now there are many more nail polish for about
CHF 16.- (approx. $ 14) available.

Sensationail promise that this gel-polish holds till two weeks. I can’t say if this is really true because the color puts me off after one week and I have to change it. But till this point of time the polish stays really beautiful, does not peel, doesn’t leave any stripes on papers and doesn’t graze (even if you try to make claw marks with a key on it).

All in all I’m very happy with my Sensationail. Maybe the equipment acquisition is a bit more expensive as if you buy normal polishes but for it the polish holds much longer.

For me I’ve recognized that I can’t wear it every time because my nails are getting brittle (you have to roughen your nails before you apply the polish that it can better hold).

The application is very easy and fast done.
First you have to roughen your nails and clean with the cleanser.
After you apply the primer and let it dry about 15 seconds.
Next you put the basecoat on your nails and let them cure 30 seconds under the LED-lamp. Then put two layers of the polish (let every layer cure 1 minute under the LED lamp) and after 1 layer of topcoat (let it cure 30 seconds under the LED). Finally you clean again the nails with the cleanser and your new manicure is finished, the nails are glossy and dry.
